Bucks Vs. Mavericks Pre-Season
So for many that don't know, I am a HUGE basketball fan. I am for sure a Milwaukee Bucks fan even though they haven't been doing good for the past three or four years. Milwaukee is always #1 to me and I love that we get tickets for ten Bucks games a year. Don't get me wrong though if the Bucks can't make the playoffs, I am always a fan of whichever team Allen Iverson is playing for, so for now the Denver Nuggets. Allen Iverson is easily my favorite player ever to walk the court. Anyways they'll be more time to talk about that later in the year since were getting tickets to wath Iverson take on the Bucks. This Friday though the Bucks are coming to play another pre-season game at the LaCrosse Center. I went to the game last year where they played the Chicago Bulls in a pre-season opener and had amazing seats. We got to go right on courtside and I actually got to talk to some of the players for just a minute or two. This year we weren't lucky enough to get courtside so were up a little ways. Eathier way though I'm still excited to go and watch the game, especially with my dad because we don't get to spend that much time together watching sports together anymore. There's three big upsides to this Friday, first I get to watch my favorite team play, I also get to spend some time with my dad and little brother, and I also am hoping for a huge game out of the Bucks because I hate the Dallas Mavericks. It's not that I hate all the players on the team, but I have lots of hate for Dirk Nowitzki and I'm hoping to see him get injured (If he plays at all). I'm hoping the Bucks can turn it around after having one of the worst records in the NBA last year, especially since aquiring new players Richard Jefferson, Tyronn Lue, Luke Ridinour, and their first round draft pick Joe Alexander. I think the Bucks have a good chance if they can play good team ball and Michael Redd can have an outstanding year.

G-E-T Homecoming
September 26 was G-E-T Highschool's homecoming. We played our biggest rivals the West Salem Panthers. We lost both games last year, my senior year, because our #2 running back was out with an injury. So last Friday me and all of my friends went back t0 G-E-T to watch the anticipated game. We all met up at the field and started chatting away with what was going on with us now, and that we need to hook up soon. As kickoff began we watched nervously as West Salem stuck with us the first half, we didn't know what would become of the second half because our team didn't have the depth we did last year. They came out for the second half though just untouchable. They stopped West Salem on their defensive posessions and took the ball down to score when we were on offense. We ended the game happy beating West Salem 21 - 10. It was a great game and gave us much to celebrate at the bonfire that night. The next day was the actual homecoming dance where me and my buddies had to go see who was crowned king and queen. So we got there, the gym was hotter than haitis and we were dripping sweat just sitting on the bleachers waiting for cornation. As the homecoming court was announced I hoped for my two best friends to win king and queen. Waiting and waiting, I was hoping Dylan and Brenna would win, but no. The winners were announced as Natalie Thatcher and Jacob Bambenek. I understood why Natalie would win since she is the nicest girl you could ever meet. She has nothing bad to say about anyone, no matter what they do to her. Jacob on the other hand was not that cool. He was a cocky kid who thinks he is the world at football and basketball. Yes I mean he made varsity basketball his freshmen year, but how could you not when you're 6 foot 3 and the rest of your team averages a height of 5 foot 11. Like it didn't help that his father was the assistant coach. All in all though it was a most joyful homecoming, seeing my friends and hanging out with them for the first time in a couple weeks just really made me appreciate what we have together.
