Who To Move In With?
I'm stuck in a rock and a hard place. Thinking about next year's living scenario, I can't decide what to do. Some of my friends want me to move into a 5 bedroom house with them for the next year, but there's a possibility that my cousin, who is also my best friend, won't be able to live with me then. The big problem is im not sure if I want to live with a bunch of people because there's no telling what they can do, they might decide to have a bunch of people over when I don't feel like doing much or something of that sort. I also am a very clean perosn and like everything put away and clean, but I don't know if my friends will pick up after themselves or even the little things like doing the dishes and what not. I don't know if I just want to live with my cousin eathier because there will be times where we don't know what to do and it can get boring. The upside to living with him though is that we only have to get a 2 bedroom house and that would make it much easier for our home life I beleive. At least I still have 6 months to think about it.

Highschool Playoffs
I went back to my hometown last weekend so that I could see some of my friends and hang out with them, but I also went back because we had a big playoff game against Nekoosa on Thursday. As I thought we easily beat Nekoosa and went to the second round of the playoffs. We found out on Frideay that we were scheduled to play West Salem who is in our conference and is our biggest rival. So you understand how big this rival is we loss to them twice last season and have been fighthing with them in every sport since. The game started with West Salem running the ball down the field and scoring a quick field goal. They cheered louder then ever but it didn't last long. West Salem kicked the ball off and our kick returner ran it back for a touchdown. Then our quarterback threw a great pass to get the two point conversion. After that West Salem had easy going until the fourth quarter hit. West Salem had built their lead up and was beating us by 17. A lot of our fans and players thought it was over but we marched right back down and scored to bring us within 3 points with 1:45 left in the 4th quarter. We tried an onside kick and West Salem recovered it and ran the clock out. It was dissapointing to all of us who had graduated the year before but it was even more dissapointing to the seniors this year. A couple of my really good friends were very upset so we went and hung out for a while. Although we loss theirs always Basketball season to look forward too.

Bucks Vs. Mavericks Pre-Season
So for many that don't know, I am a HUGE basketball fan. I am for sure a Milwaukee Bucks fan even though they haven't been doing good for the past three or four years. Milwaukee is always #1 to me and I love that we get tickets for ten Bucks games a year. Don't get me wrong though if the Bucks can't make the playoffs, I am always a fan of whichever team Allen Iverson is playing for, so for now the Denver Nuggets. Allen Iverson is easily my favorite player ever to walk the court. Anyways they'll be more time to talk about that later in the year since were getting tickets to wath Iverson take on the Bucks. This Friday though the Bucks are coming to play another pre-season game at the LaCrosse Center. I went to the game last year where they played the Chicago Bulls in a pre-season opener and had amazing seats. We got to go right on courtside and I actually got to talk to some of the players for just a minute or two. This year we weren't lucky enough to get courtside so were up a little ways. Eathier way though I'm still excited to go and watch the game, especially with my dad because we don't get to spend that much time together watching sports together anymore. There's three big upsides to this Friday, first I get to watch my favorite team play, I also get to spend some time with my dad and little brother, and I also am hoping for a huge game out of the Bucks because I hate the Dallas Mavericks. It's not that I hate all the players on the team, but I have lots of hate for Dirk Nowitzki and I'm hoping to see him get injured (If he plays at all). I'm hoping the Bucks can turn it around after having one of the worst records in the NBA last year, especially since aquiring new players Richard Jefferson, Tyronn Lue, Luke Ridinour, and their first round draft pick Joe Alexander. I think the Bucks have a good chance if they can play good team ball and Michael Redd can have an outstanding year.

G-E-T Homecoming
September 26 was G-E-T Highschool's homecoming. We played our biggest rivals the West Salem Panthers. We lost both games last year, my senior year, because our #2 running back was out with an injury. So last Friday me and all of my friends went back t0 G-E-T to watch the anticipated game. We all met up at the field and started chatting away with what was going on with us now, and that we need to hook up soon. As kickoff began we watched nervously as West Salem stuck with us the first half, we didn't know what would become of the second half because our team didn't have the depth we did last year. They came out for the second half though just untouchable. They stopped West Salem on their defensive posessions and took the ball down to score when we were on offense. We ended the game happy beating West Salem 21 - 10. It was a great game and gave us much to celebrate at the bonfire that night. The next day was the actual homecoming dance where me and my buddies had to go see who was crowned king and queen. So we got there, the gym was hotter than haitis and we were dripping sweat just sitting on the bleachers waiting for cornation. As the homecoming court was announced I hoped for my two best friends to win king and queen. Waiting and waiting, I was hoping Dylan and Brenna would win, but no. The winners were announced as Natalie Thatcher and Jacob Bambenek. I understood why Natalie would win since she is the nicest girl you could ever meet. She has nothing bad to say about anyone, no matter what they do to her. Jacob on the other hand was not that cool. He was a cocky kid who thinks he is the world at football and basketball. Yes I mean he made varsity basketball his freshmen year, but how could you not when you're 6 foot 3 and the rest of your team averages a height of 5 foot 11. Like it didn't help that his father was the assistant coach. All in all though it was a most joyful homecoming, seeing my friends and hanging out with them for the first time in a couple weeks just really made me appreciate what we have together.

Sturgeon Bay...
Ok so last weekend me and one of my good friends Patrick Erbe went up to Sturgeon Bay with our other good friend Matt Brauer. Matt is from Sturgeon Bay and he asked us if we wanted to come with, so we could check out his hometown. If you don't know Sturgeon Bay is in "thumb" of Wisconsin or the Peninsula. It was a 5 hour drive from LaCrosse all the way to Sturgeon Bay. I had no idea what to expect of Sturgeon Bay, the way that Matt made it sound was it was just like any other little town we've been to, but no. Sturgeon Bay is sorrounded by water and it is the one of the most beautiful towns i've been to. They only have 10,000 people but that nearly doubles during the summer because of the tourism. Some popular activities over there all deal with water; such as things like fishing, jet skiing, tubing, sailboating, and just relaxing on their boat. Sturgeon Bay also has a very unique thing about them. They specialize on making bodies for yachts, and Tiger Woods (Proffesional Golfer) has actually had a yacht built there. Were not just talking about small yachts eathier, they make 1,500 foot yachts for many famous people. Sturgeon Bay was also a little more wealthier city, I can't even remember how many million dollar homes we saw, or how many Mercedes or other higher end cars we saw. We had a great time hanging out with Matt's family and friends, although quite a few of his friends weren't there because they were still at college. I loved the enviornment there and am really thinking about taking a couple weeks off in the summer to take a little trip up there. I would love to get up there in the summer and take the wave runners out and do some wakeboarding. Only 10 more months to wait...

Land Rover
I went home this weekend to visit my family and hang out with them for a little while. My dad saw a vehicle while I was gone that he really thought would be a good buy. He explained to me the car is in good condition, it has two sunroofs, leather, and it only had 75,000 miles on it. He then told me that it was a 2002 Land Rover. I explained to him what I have heard about Land Rovers and that they were very reliable cars. I also had to tell him though about how to even do little things like get your oil changed, you have to drive to the Twin Cities or Milwaukee. This is because nobody around here is very knowledged in foreign cars. The fact that he would have to go to the Twin Cities completely stomped the idea down. Although my dad loved this car he says he will keep looking for something that me and him will both agree on. I still wish we could get that Land Rover though.

1st Entry
Obviously the Packers play the Vikings tomorow, and obviously it's going to be a tough game. The Packers starting with Aaron Rodgers, who has not played a complete game in his NFL career, will have a tough start against the stable defensive that the Vikings have. Obviously the packers need to do one thing to win, stop Adrian Peterson. Tarvaris Jackson, the Vikings starting quarterback, will beat himself if he has to throw the ball. Especially since the Packers defense is one of the best in the NFL, with their star defensive backs Charles Woodson, Al Harris, & Atari Bigby.
The Packers do have a very talented offense though. They have one of the NFL's best receiving core with starters Donald Driver, Greg Jennings, James Jones, & Donald Lee. They also have a young prospect by the name of Jordy Nelson who is suppose to be the best receiver in the 2008 NFL Draft. Ryan Grant (the Packers running back) is also projected for a big year after the numbers he put up in the 2007-2008 season. The only downside to the Packers offense this year is the starting quarterback Aaron Rodgers, people are expecting big things from him following the outstanding career that Brett Favre had. As long as the Packers defense stops Adrian Peterson, and Aaron Rodgers has an ok game, I beleive that the Packers will come out victorious 27 - 17.
